David Hewitt Cromley Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Hewitt Cromley of Saluda, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David Hewitt left this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evin Hewitt Cromley and Helen Keller Grant Cromley; his son David Berry Cromley; his sister Lalla Mae Lowery; and also Betty Styron Cromley.
He is survived by: his wife Diane F. Cromley; his daughters, Melody C. Dorn (Steve) of Saluda and Laurie Meadow (Mike) of Newberry; his stepdaughter Kendra Allison (Wayne) of Hendersonville, NC; and his sisters, Dory C. Whittle of Saluda and Rose C. Farmer (Jerry) of Saluda. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zoar Church (226 Zoar Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
