With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie Derrick of Saluda, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2021 at the age of 19. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kim Long (Leonia) of Greenwood, SC. and Crystal J. Derrick of Saluda, SC.; her daughter Aliyah Simmons; and her grandmothers, Evelyn Derrick and Sonya Karter of Saluda, SC.. She was also cherished by six uncles, five aunts, three nephews, six nieces a host of relatives and many friends.
