She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace J. Yarbrough and Blanche Scurry Yarbrough; her husband Charles P. Johnson; her daughters, Emma Jane and Dorothy June; and her siblings, Lois Marley, Margaret Brendle Mitchell, Mary Tysinger, Blanche Able Robertson, Horace Yarbrough, Hayne Yarbrough, George Byrd Yarbrough and Kenneth Yarbrough.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Pow (Jerry), Joy Hyler (Randy) and Jill Forrest (Jerry Holmes); her grandsons, Mark Pow, Brian Pow, Jeremy Pow, Randy Hyler, II (Kelley), Ryan Hyler and John David Forrest; and her great grandchildren, Dalton and Bailey Hyler.
