We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2023, at the age of 90, Eleanor Palmer Metts in Saluda, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Winford Oneal Metts; her children, Karen Metts Blanset and Layne Metts; her great grandchild John-Michael Hall; her parents, David Shelton Palmer, Sr. and Farrah Ellen Palmer; her siblings, Edith Nichols, Sallie Rinehart, Cromer, Homer, Jake, Roy and Joe; and her extended family, Dorothy Metts, Mildred Perry, Mollie Morgan, Robert Metts and Barbara Palmer.
She is survived by : her daughters, Marlene Metts and Elizabeth White (Wayne); her children-in-law, Ginny Metts and Richard Blanset; her grandchildren, Jessica Faulkner (Chris), Jonathan Metts (Mary), Erin Talbert (Harvey), Steven Metts (Jessica), Michael White (Katie), Lauren Miller Christen Hall (Drew) and Meagan Johnson (Chris); and her siblings-in-law, George Ray Metts and Glenda Metts. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
