He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Walker and Reda Bernell Oswald Eargle; and his siblings, Charles Zebulon Eargle, Steven Landry Eargle, Brooks Walker Eargle and Donnell Rita Eargle.

He is survived by : his children, Amanda Rowe (Phillip) of Saluda and Erick Lee Eargle, Jr. (Tina) of Greenwood; and his sisters, Sandra R. Unger of Chappells and Susie Landrum (Brandon). He is also survived by three grandsons, one great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, 218 Sardis Road, Saluda, SC 29138.
