We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Hazel M. Hruby of Saluda, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amon Minick and Maggie Cook Minick; her husbands, Lewis Chapman and Wilbur Hruby; her daughters, Monica C. Meyer and Celeste C. Carrozza; and her siblings, Ralph Minick, Harold Minick, David Minick, Hugh Minick, Leroy Minick, Christine Minick and Kathryn Bundrick.

She is survived by: her son David Chapman (Laura) of Piedmont, OK; her grandchildren, LaTisha Boyd, Cecily Carrozza (Curtis), Celene Carrozza, Woodrow Padgett and Danielle Enlow (Darya); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Carla and Travis Boyd; and her sisters, Dorothy Minick and Dollie Lunsford.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the American Rose Society, PO Box 30000, Shreveport, LA 71130 or to the Pyracantha Garden Club, c/o Mary Lou Burris, 108 Hazel Street, Saluda SC 29138.
