He is survived by: his wife Della Mae Jones Wise of Saluda, SC; his daughter Sharon Young of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Jennifer Edwards (Lowman), Valerie Wise of Batesburg, SC, Pamela Fredericks (Leroy) of Lexington, SC and Larry Wise of Columbia, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Means, Rosetta Jones and Brenda Coleman (Donnie).
Viewing was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Butler and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (306 N Bouknight Ferry Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (130 Pleasant Hill Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
