She was predeceased by: her parents, Heyward Salters and Gilda Clary Salters. She is survived by: her husband James Byrd; and her sons, Samuel Green and JD Byrd. She is also survived by sister; three brothers; and a grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (1305 Shiloh Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
