She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Willie Mae Abney (Coleman); and her brothers, Ray Anderson, James Henry Abney, Abraham Abney and Melvin Abney.
She is survived by: her son Victor O. Abney (Nicole) of Greenwood; her close friend Oscar A. Lott of Saluda; her goddaughter Alaiza N. Abney of Saluda; her stepson Andre Daniels (Emersyn N. Taylor) of Saluda; her stepgrandchildren, De'Andre Matthews, DreKwon Daniels, Andre Daniels, Noreaga Daniels and RaShard Daniels; her siblings, Georgia F. Hawkins of Saluda, Andrena Gallman of Saluda, Susan Abney of Saluda, Willie Pearl Abney of Saluda and Calvin Abney of Saluda; her niece Alondrea T. Abney of Saluda; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Hawkins Sr. and Henry L. Gallman. She is also survived by fourteen nieces, thirteen nephews, a host of cousins, and dear friends.
