It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucile Lorick Lurk-Pope (Saluda, South Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Springs-Lorick and Margaret Springs-Lorick; her daughter Margaret-Ann; and her siblings, Henry Bell, Curtis, Jessie Lorick and Annie Ruth Graham.
She is survived by : her husband James; her children, Brenda Pope-Branch (Reggie) of Atlanta, GA, James II (Michelle) of Paterson, NJ. and Angel Lynn Pooler (Draton) of Short Hills, NJ; her siblings, Hardy Lorick of Washington, DC, Johnnie Lee Lorick (Clara) of Greensboro, NC., Wilbert Lorick (Grace) of Johnston, SC. and Mable Crouch (George) of Saluda, SC.; her grandchildren, Tracy S Short (Ebony), Taea T. Cross, Tamija Pope and Monique Pope; and her great grandchildren, Na'im, TraSean, Nyronda and T'iorie. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
