Michael Thomas Wertz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2025, at the age of 80, Michael Thomas Wertz of Saluda, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Advill Dupre Wertz Sr. and Katie Harrison Wertz; and his siblings, Margaret Hammond and Ernie Wertz. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Tolbert Wertz; his sons, Lee Wertz (Jennifer) of Saluda and BJ Wertz of Saluda; his grandchildren, Miranda, Michelle, Mandy, Meredith, McKenzie, Courtney and Austin; and his siblings, Laura Storey (Ted) and A. D. Wertz of Saluda.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Methodist Church (1305 Shiloh Rd, Saluda, SC 29138).
