As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michelle Wash may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She is survived by: her parents, William R. Wash and Mary Lindley Wash; her husband Ben W. Smith; her siblings, Gary Wash (Jan), Barry Wash (Pam), Karen Boggs (Ron) and Melinda Taylor (Tim); and her sister-in-law Kennifer S. Cox (Tom). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, as well as great nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church (102 E Butler Ave, Saluda, S.C. 29138).
