She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Ben Brooks; her parents, Sam Edward (Roebuck) and Inez Lott Robinson; her sons, James Brooks, Richard Brooks and Jonathan Brooks; her grandson Tevin Brooks; and her sister Pauline Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Brooks of Saluda, SC, Annette Wesley (Willie) of Pontiac, Inez Marie Brooks of Saluda, SC and Rosie Lee Lang (Like) of Houston, TX; her siblings, Sam Eddie Robinson of Saluda, SC, Albert Robinson (Gloria) of Batesburg, SC, Annie P. Watson of Saluda, SC and Margaret Young of Saluda, SC; and her daughter-in-law Renee Brooks of Flagstaff, AZ. She is also survived by other relatives and sorrowing friends.
