She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Artemas "O. A." and Mattie Belle Parkman Cockrell; her spouse Lemar Cockrell; her daughter Lindy Cockrell; and her siblings, Runette Frazee (Frank), Dorothy "Dot" Stevenson (Frank), Dudley "Duck" Cockrell, Robert "Bobby" Cockrell (Carrie Belle), Hubert Cockrell and Heyward Brooks Cockrell.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Cockrell (Jo) and Neal Cockrell (Vicki); her grandchildren, Scott Cockrell, Amy Hernandez (Ruben), Ryan Cockrell, Marcus Cockrell, Julia Kundert (Casey) and Lindsey White; her great grandchildren, Naomi Hernandez, Sam Hernandez, Calvin Kundert and James Kundert; her sister Joyce Dennis; and her sister-in-law Ann Cockrell.
