With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vinetta Smith Nicholson (Saluda, South Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick Eugene Smith and Sudie Mae Rice Smith; her husband James Heyward Nicholson; and her siblings, Virgil Smith, Lula Mae Jester and Doris Jay.

She is survived by : her sisters, Jessie Werts of Saluda and Sara Crawford of Saluda. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church, 1738 Greenwood Hwy, Saluda, SC 29138.
