He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Abney and Carrie J. Golston; and his girlfriend Susie Davies. He is survived by: his sister Annie G. Corley; his nieces and nephews, Sandra Golston of Saluda, Loretta Springs of Anderson, Carrilyn Corley of Anderson, Dwayne Corley of Anderson, Ira Corley of Anderson and Jasper T. Moon of Stafford; and his stepchildren, Alisha Thompson-Pratt of Chapin, Margaret Davis of Newberry and Christopher Thompson of Columbia. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.
