She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Coates and Annie Mae Watson. She is survived by: her daughters, Precious, Twanda L. Williams, Titania Mathis (Glenn), Latetha Watson, Laketha Pace and Carlisa Watson; her siblings, Hazel A. Watson (Dexter), Johnful Watson, James Coates (Rechell), Anthony Coates Richard Coates Jr. (Velda) and Steven Smith (Linda); her aunt Carrie West (Major); and her close friend Lee Ira Smith. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
