He is survived by : his wife Rose Johnson Shuler McKay; his children, Michael Citro (Edward Dozier), Theresa Alberghini (John), Nicholas Citro (Rose) and Cynthia D. Shuler; his grandchildren, Joshua Alberghini, Sarah Alberghini, Shari Peterson, Kimberly E. Gunn, Michael Citro, Jr., Domino Alberghini and Isabella Alberghini; his sister Mary H. Quade; and his siblings-in-law, Odell Geneva Johnson (Edward), Annie J. McCollough (Johnny), Clay Johnson (Yvonne), Herbert Johnson (Billie) and Roosevelt Johnson (Mary). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

The family requests that friends refrain from visiting the home due to COVID-19.

“Jerry was a wonderful neighbor in Bradford Village. Chuck and I both loved him and Ms. Rose for all the wonderful memories especially at Christmas time. We will miss Jerry so much and shall always love him for his kindness and love that he shared with everyone. His heart was gold. Heaven has an angel now and his name is Jerry.
