She was predeceased by: her mother Brenda Joy Gardner Avin; her stepfather O. D. Avin; and her uncle Carl Perry. She is survived by: her father Hampton Wade Nettles; her husband Carroll Altman; her children, Breanna Jeffreys (Landon) and Chance Welch (Kristen); her stepdaughter Amy Evans (Merritt); her grandchildren, Nicholas Evans, McKenna Grace Jeffreys, Montgomery Jeffreys and Owen Welch; her sister Lisa Nettles; her aunt Mamie Perry; her nieces, Ramsey Galloway and Amanda Nettles; and her stepmother Betty Jean Nettles. She is also survived by other aunts, uncles.
