He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Wilson; his children, Anthony Mims and Michelle Mims Lynch (David Floyd); his stepson Robert Wilson (Crystal); his grandchild Ashley Lynch Britt (David); his great grandchild Carter Britt; his stepgrandchildren, Rachael Miles, Ashley Miles, Kimberly Miles and Ida Miles; and his siblings, Leon Mims (Jeanette) and Ruth Holladay (Swintz). He is also survived by 9 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery (833 Broad Swamp Rd, Kingstree, SC 29556).
