With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James B. Creel of Scranton, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alton E. Creel and Willa Maude Powell Creel; his grandson Branson Creel; his brothers, Darryl Creel, Larry Creel and Earl Creel (Naomy); and his nephew Glen Creel.

He is survived by : his former life partner Wanda Brendle Creel; his children, Eric Creel (Nancy), Erica Brown (Mike) and Ashley Creel; his grandchildren, Tyree "TJ" Brown, Dylan Brown, KaMyah Brown, Preston Creel, Madison Creel and Cheyenne Hayes; and his siblings, Reba Crosby, Pearl Hargrove (Jerry), Ronnie Creel, Tony Creel (Renae) and Wendell Creel (Luke).
