He was predeceased by: his parents, Dessie Spring and Florrie Spring; his son Jimmy L. Spring, II; his grandparents, Brady and Lizzie Ridgle; his sister Jeanette Spring Barfield; and his brother-in-law Reverend Raymond Barfield.
He is survived by: his wife Betty "Clydia" Spring of Scranton; his daughter Dusty Braddock (Bryan) of Hartsville; his sister Peggy Johnson of Olanta; his grandchildren, Regan Spring Matthews (Caleb) of Darlington, Caleb L. Spring of Columbia, Joseph "Jay" Braddock of Hartsville and Andrew "Hampton" Braddock of Hartsville; and his great grandchildren, Delilah Jo Matthews, Joseph "Joey" Dean Matthews and Wilson Grey Spring. He is also survived by his family and his vast circle of friends.
