It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Smith (Scranton, South Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harmon T. Hardwick and Cleo Carter Hardwick; her husband Charles Edward Smith; and her brothers, Walden, Earl and Jimmy Hardwick.

She is survived by : her daughters, Anita Youmans (Billy) and Sandra Smith Coker; her grandchildren, Marsha Altman (Travis), Edward Coker (Christen), Amanda Errico (Dominick) and Sarah Ensminger (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Riley Coker, Luke Altman, Braxton Altman, Destiny Coker, Faith Coker and Santino Errico; her sisters, Deanna McKnight and Carolyn Scabery; and her sister-in-law Diane Hardwick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Gardens (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
