It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Anderson Welch (Scranton, South Carolina), who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Lawrence James and Maurice Steele James; her husband Jimmy Anderson; and her brother Jesse S. James. She is survived by : her son Robert Scott Anderson (Kristy Thornbrew); her stepchildren, Cindy Faile (Christian) and Scotty Welch (Becky); her stepgranddaughters, Maggie and Anna; her sisters, Frances Davis, Carolyn Weaver and Wanda Carsten; her siblings-in-law, Larry Anderson (Shelby) and Norma James; and her close friend Gail Driggers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
