Mae Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mae Evans of Scranton, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bradshaw and Agnes Marsh Bradshaw; her husband Marvin Melvin Evans; her son Randy O'Neal Evans; her siblings, Major Bradshaw, Lamar Bradshaw, James Bradshaw, Willard Bradshaw, Sammy Bradshaw, Leola Braxton and Virginia Braxton; her granddaughter Tonya Denise Evans; and her great grandchild Robert Lee Neal Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Harry Eugene Evans (Vanessa) of Scranton, Donald Ricky Evans of Scranton and Sarah Louise Evans (Terry) of Irmo; and her close friends, Mary and Marilyn. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Lake City Memorial Park.
