We bid farewell to Mettie Ruth Miles of Scranton, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 10, 2024 at the age of 79. Mettie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther James Miles and Minnie M. Miles; her former husband Carlton Miles; her son Stacey Miles; her husband Elwyn Isgett; and her sisters, Virginia Tyler, Daphine Collins and Myrtie Bell Miles.
She is survived by: her brother William "Bubba" Miles (Kat) of Coward; her niece Joyce Singletary (Sam) of Effingham; her sister-in-law Barbara Miles of Scranton; her great-nieces, Jamie Pasker (Daniel) and Ashley Yarborough; and her close friend Elaine Bailey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591).
