We announce the death of Sheila Rose Coker of Scranton, South Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 87. Sheila Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Coker; her parents, Albert Woods and Lily Beatrice Goulding Woods; her daughter Lisa Floyd; and her siblings, Arthur, Irene, Lily, Gladys and Beryl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Jones (Wayne) and Debra Garris (Glenn); her grandchildren, Michelle Floyd McDonald, April Floyd (Chuck), Selena Floyd (Everett), Keith Floyd (April), Mandy Bryant (Rod), Courtney Garris and Chelsey Hendrix (Zach); and her sisters, Marlene Dickerson and Doreen Barry. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bible Outreach Church (1233 US-378, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
