He is survived by: his wife Sheri Bryant Filyaw of Cades; his mother Grethel Mims Filyaw of Cades; his son Cody Filyaw (Hunter) of Pamplico; his granddaughter Greysen Filyaw of Pamplico; his sister Brenda Miles (Kent) of Cades; his sister-in-law Cindy Filyaw of Myrtle Beach; and his sibling's children, Myles Filyaw (Emily) of Barrineau and Grace Dryden (Steven) of Coward.
