He was predeceased by : his parents, Verson Edward Hulon and Gertrude Rosalee Hyatt Hulon; and his siblings, Mary Layton Hulon, Sherwood Hulon, Derwood Hulon and Carl Gus Hulon.

He is survived by : his children, Gary Wayne Hulon (Loretta) of Dillon, Jeanne Marie Hulon of Latta, Amy Hulon Moore (Larry) of Sellers and Terry George Hulon (Raven Cierra) of Blenheim; his grandchildren, Taylor Paige Hulon (Michael), Brittany Morgan Roberts (Josh), Hannah Malissa Roberts, Julia Brooke Roberts, Ashley Kristen Hulon (Rasean), Dylan Keith Hulon (Brianna), Daniel Wayne Hulon, Jaylan Blake Hulon, Chelsea Leigh Caulder, Haley Moore Locklear (Dakota), J. R. Moore (Kirstin), Preston Wyatt Moore, Ian Scott Hulon and Jacob Calhoun Hulon; and his sisters, Carol Lee (Billy) of Latta, Margaret Lewis of Fayetteville, NC and Mildred Tolar of Dillon. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Chapel (1806 SC-38, Latta, SC 29565).
