He is survived by : his daughter Stacia Hunter; his siblings, Thomas Hunter, Frank Hunter, Walter Hunter, David Hunter, Nancy Tallent, Dinah Hunter and June Hunter; and his great grandchild Adelynn Gosnell.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
