He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Edward Nowell, Jr. and Emily Ruth Dendy Nowell. He is survived by: his girlfriend Alice Martin; his daughters, Christine Nowell Mitchell (Keven) and Catherine Nowell Fowler (Howard); his grandchildren, Morgan Teachey (Alex), Parker Fowler and Campbell Fowler; his great grandchild Cayden Fowler; and his brothers, Allen Dendy Nowell (Lavita) of Blowing Rock, NC, Gregorie Webb Nowell (Cathie) of Seneca, SC, Nicholas Herndon Nowell (Kim) of Asheville, NC, Louis Gaillard Nowell (Sarah) of Seneca, SC and Christopher Corbin Nowell (Lynn) of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends.

The family has elected to respect Tee's final wishes by asking that, in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
