She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Emory Pickron Sr. and Mary O'Brien Pickron of Anderson, SC.; her husband John Louis "Mac" McAbee; her brother Raleigh Emory "R. E." Pickron Jr.; her sister-in-law Doris Pickron of Anderson, SC; and her son-in-law John David James of Seneca, SC..
She is survived by: her daughter Marya McAbee James; her grandchildren, Jessica James Carver (Jon Carver) and Ashley James McGhee (Brian McGhee); her great grandchildren, Cullen David McGhee, Addilyn Reese McGhee, Nora Caroline McGhee, Marya Alice "Mac" Carver and Foster James McGhee; her nephew Raleigh Emory "Ree" Pickron III (Kristal Pickron); and her great-niece Kaleigh Pickron of Anderson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (2609 US-29, Anderson, SC 29621).
