He was predeceased by: his wife Carol B. Cunningham; and his son Bennie L. Cunningham, Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Miller Grant Cunningham (Neva), Howard Hamilton Cunningham (Deborah) of Seneca and Ronald Putman (Phyllis) of Greenville; and his siblings, Miller Cunningham (Ada) of Spartanburg, John B. Cunningham (Rebecca) of Laurens, Clara Pearl Blakely of Laurens and Sarah C. Beasley (Marion) of Fountain Inn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
