He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Swaney Grant; his parents, Grady Lee Grant and Ethel Holbrooks Grant; his son Bobby "Lamar" Grant; and his brothers, Arthur Grant, Grady Grant Jr., Billy Grant, Charles Grant, Jimmy Grant and Lesco Grant.

He is survived by: his daughter Tina Grant Neal (Dale) of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Roach, Jasmine Grant and Jordan Grant. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
