He is survived by: his stepson Brian Hughes of Morgantown, WV; his daughter April Thaxton of Charleston, WV; his daughter-in-law Cassandra Todd of Morgantown, WV; his siblings, Raymond Jordan (Vanessa) of Charleston, WV, David Underwood (Sheila) of Derricks Creek, WV and Molly Clendenin (Tim) of Ash, NC; his sister-in-law Debbie Moore of Apex, NC; and his grandchildren, Thomas Hughes, Isabella Hughes, Brian Hughes, Emma Hughes, Noah Thaxton and Gage Thaxton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
