He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wilson Nichols of Seneca; his children, Darrin Nichols (Teresa) and Wanda Stephens (Jason); his siblings, Doug Nichols (Judy), Jimmy Nichols (Myra) and Patricia Long; his grandchildren, Brian Knight (Nicole), Kayla Thompson (Steve), Carrie Watkins (Kyle), Kaitlyn Tilson (Tyler), Lexie Bedenbaugh (Noah) and Dylan Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Kaysen Thompson, Khloe Thompson, Andrew Thompson (Abby), Jaxon Knight, Jaden Wellmon, Dayton Watkins, Harrison Watkins, Lincoln Bedenbaugh, Emerson Tilson and Wyatt Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Memorial Gardens (4500 SC-11, Westminster, SC 29693).
