He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Rau and Dorothy Korth Rau. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Schowalter Rau (Beckie); his children, John (Lynnae Pletan), Lisa (Gary Lehmann) and Steven (Julie Mahon); his grandchildren, Erica, Melissa, Kevin Rau, Tyler and Zachary; and his children, Luke Lehmann, Josiah and Chloe Rau.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church (220 Carson Rd, Seneca, SC 29678).
