He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris McKean and Arlene McKean; and his sister Pam Fugate. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sons, James McKean (Karen) and Robert McKean (Kathy); his sister Paula DePriest (Larry); his niece Larissa Fricks (Cameron); his nephew Jeff Fugate (Leisa); and his grandchildren, Megan Phillips (Cody), Morgan Walton (Justin), Sarah McKean (Hauser) and Christopher McKean (Mandy). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Crossgate Church (404 Keowee School Rd, Seneca, SC 29672). A reception will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Keowee Key Country Club (1 Country Club Rd, Salem, SC 29676).
