He is survived by: his wife Louise Nix; his children, Donnie Ray Nix (Wendy) of Seneca and Angie Powell of Seneca; his grandchildren, Josh Powell (Hannah) and Olivia Nix; his great grandchildren, Gatlin Powell and Evan Powell; and his siblings, Jamie Nix of Easley, Melvin Nix of Seneca, Leon Nix of Seneca, Ralph Nix of Seneca, Mary Holbrooks of Seneca and Janice Holbrooks of Seneca.
