He was predeceased by: his wife Eula Owen Bramlett of Seneca; his parents, Fred Bramlett and Mary Ellis Bramlett; his son Edward Junior Bramlett; and his siblings, Dorris Bramlett, Marion Bramlett, Rufus Bramlett, Dennis Bramlett, Marvin Bramlett and Wilma Sosby.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Ledford (Richard) of Seneca, SC, Marsha Melancon (Steve) of Houma, LA and Eric Bramlett (Kathy) of West Union, SC; his grandchildren, Danielle Ivey (David), Paul Melancon (Courteney), Anna Melancon, Chris Burton (Kristen) and Joseph Melancon (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Emily Grace Ivey, Lauren Elizabeth Ivey, Ava Claire Burton, Taylor Renee Melancon, Jean Paul Melancon, Evangeline Clare and Oliver Miles Melancon; and his sister Mattie Bell Johns.
