Erwin George Poile Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2018, at the age of 93, Erwin George Poile Jr. (Seneca, South Carolina), born in Rome, New York passed away.
Mr. Poile was a WWII veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge and in actions at other areas of Europe. He was a member of Company D, 4th Battalion of the U. S. Army Infantry. Following his discharge, he returned home to become a 2nd generation dairy farmer.
He was predeceased by his parents, Erwin George Poile, Sr., his mother, Mary Louise Cronk Poile, and his wife Bonnie Fay Thompson Poile. He was also predeceased by his son Erwin George Poile III in 1989. He and his wife Fay had eleven children.
