She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brewer and Allie Frisbie Brewer; her son Kerry Bryce Walton; and her siblings, Willie "Rockles" Brewer, Frank Brewer, Woodie Brewer, Alfred Brewer and Nellie Rose Lightle.
She is survived by: her husband John Quincy Adams, III; her daughter Kelli W. Steely of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Zachary Pugh, Parker Walton, Kyle Walton, Jacob Steely, Katelyn Steely and Emily Steely. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
