He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Morgan Head of Seneca; his parents, Rufus Head and Maude White Head; and his sisters, Nancy Ann Head McNeill and Shirley Wandalee Head Baxter.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Harold Head (Lisa) of Seneca, James "Jim" Head of Easley, William "Bill" Alan Head (Karen) of Seneca and Janet Head-Lee Neville (Jesse) of Walhalla. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
