She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace J. Owens and Nellie Cain Owens; her siblings, Gene Owens, C. W. Owens, Jimmy Owens, Sara White, Dixie Hiott, Frankie Stephens and Peggy Sanders; and her granddaughter Amber Leigh Harris.
She is survived by: her brother Clay Owens; her daughters, Theresa Deal (Rodney) of Westminster and Pam McDonald (Rusty) of Seneca; her grandchildren, Ashton McDonald (Kayla), Breanna Hinkle (Dover) and Seth Harris; and her great grandchildren, Hadley, Isabelle, Davis, Marleigh and Collins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Crossroads Baptist Church (215 Cross Roads Dr, Seneca, SC 29678).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in memory of her granddaughter Amber Leigh Harris to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston or to The Cottingham Hospice House, two places that offer comfort, care, and compassion to families during some of life's hardest moments.
