With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Richard McLane of Seneca, South Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Cromwell and Edna Boggs McLane; and his siblings, Luther McLane and Patricia White. He is survived by: his wife Susan Finley McLane of Seneca; his sons, Scott McLane (Michelle) of Seneca, SC and Allen McLane of Seneca, SC; his siblings, Jack McLane of Seneca, SC and Brenda Rackley of Valdosta, GA; and his grandchildren, Hunter McLane, Landon McLane and Zadie McLane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
