She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Hunter; and her son Benjamin Arthur Herman. She is survived by: her mother Gertrude Hunter (Jensen); her children, Thad Herman, Stacey Herman (Joe Dorant) and Nicci Hanewald (Matt); her siblings, Barbara May (David McGrath), Lin Jackson (Bud) and Ken Hunter (Judy); and her grandchildren, Emily Hanewald, Thomas Hanewald, Ryan Herman, Gabby Herman and Olivia Herman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org) and Planned Parenthood (http://www.plannedparenthood.org), two causes that were near to her heart.
