She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Freeman and Bessie Moore Freeman; her son Timothy "Tim" Grant; and her siblings, William Freeman, Carl Freeman, Roy Freeman and Sara Fincannon.

She is survived by: her son David Grant of Seneca; and her siblings, Wayne Freeman, Harold Freeman, Pat Austin, Evelyn Nelson and Judy Boggs.
