It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Wilfong (Seneca, South Carolina), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Seitz and Anne Seitz; her brother John Seitz (Jack); her husband Millard Wilfong; her former husband Kurt Meyer; and her close friend Harry Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Kerry Meyer and Kristi Tompkins (Tim Tompkins); her stepdaughter Sandi Wetherbee (Scott Wetherbee); her niece Stephanie Seitz; her nephews, Tim Seitz and John Seitz (Terrie Seitz); her grandson Matthew Gerard; and her nephews, Taylor Tompkins, Brett Tompkins (Olivia Tompkins), Jake Wetherbee and Madison Wetherbee.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Joanne's memory to the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
