She is survived by: her husband Stephen Leigh Sterner; her children, Matthew Sterner (Rebecca) of Augusta and Jennifer Sterner-Allison (Steve) of Atlanta; and her grandchildren, Brett, Anna, Molly, Brooks and Avalyn.
