She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood E. Spencer (Shirley Anthony Spencer) and Lord. She is survived by: her husband Philip Robert LaVelle; her stepchildren, Todd M. LaVelle (Deanna) and Beth Anne Eads (Ruston); her grandchildren, Avanelle R. Eads, Ellis P. Eads, Parker B. Eads and Reece Hilton; her brothers, Ken S. Spencer and Barry R. Spencer; and her nephews, Kent Spencer (Ashley), Tyler Spencer (Jessica) and Dylan Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609).
